Before attending puppy classes with my 12-week old Sprocker, Sarah helped me out in a 1-2-1 session to best handle puppy biting as the tricks I had read up on weren’t working. She’s been great and the number of tips she offered in 1-2-1s and during classes have helped me guide my lively pup’s undesired behaviours including biting to appropriate ones - even if I’m still using “too bad” at times. I highly recommend Sarah’s reward-based training.

We look forward to the lessons, although this has been challenging, we are starting to understand how to get the best response from our dogs. Working together as a team, everyone at home is engaged and using the skills we have learnt. Instructor knowledge and their personal approach and engagement with us and our dogs has meant we have got the most out of the puppy classes. We like it so much we have booked on to the next level!

We’ve done both group classes and one to ones with Barkshire Dog Training and I couldn’t recommend Sarah enough! I'm not sure what we would have done without her during that initial phase when we first brought Cosmo home as a rescue puppy, as she provided so much helpful advice and training tips. Sarah also worked with Cosmo on overcoming his fear of loud noise and we’ve seen him progress so much. We went from him refusing to go on a walk to being excited to go out in a matter of weeks. She went over and above with us - staying on beyond our allotted time to chat and responding to all our Whatsapp queries.
